ConnectMarket Africa is a full-stack e-commerce and peer-to-peer marketplace built for African commerce. Users can create accounts, verify phone and ID, list products, search and browse listings, negotiate, place orders, and complete payments through escrow. The platform includes real-time messaging, admin moderation, dispute handling, reviews, saved searches, price alerts, live streaming, and AI-assisted tools (listing quality, fraud risk, pricing suggestions). Anti-scam controls are built in: OTP verification, admin-approved seller IDs, chat scanning for external contact attempts, and held escrow until delivery is confirmed.
